I am a local physician in Las Vegas and a third generation Las Vegan. I did my undergraduate work in pre-professional biology at UNLV, and obtained my graduate degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier California, receiving my doctorate in chiropractic. I have a post grad fellowship in Clinical Biomechanics, and am one of only 19 doctors in the world that is part of the instructor team of CBP, Chiropractic Biophysics. We are the most medically and chiropractically published peer reviewed group in the world and in history with just under 150 peer reviewed publishing’s including 4 RCT ( Random Control Trials).( We work directly with some of the top published & accomplished neurosurgeons in Las Vegas doing pre/post surgical therapies on their patients. I am adjunct faculty at 4 Post-Graduate Universities/ Colleges including my alma mater, Southern California University of Health Sciences, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Kansas City, and Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas.”

I had surgery in July (ACDF) to relieve the pain and was cleared to return to the gym without any restrictions October 23, 2013. “I hired Claudia, at age 62, as a Personal Trainer to help me recover from lateral knee replacement surgery. Following the surgery, I contracted a severe staph infection which needed emergency surgery, and 7 weeks of bed rest, intervenus antibiotics, and pain medication. The knee injury was a result of a high school athletic injury, which was followed by three arthroscopic surgeries. Prior to the knee replacement 1 remained very active, running 35 marathons, hiking, and biking. As my knee pain and stiffness progressively got worse, I was forced to have the knee replacement surgery. Due to the long term injury, and the three prior surgeries, my leg became severely atrophied and the leg muscle was weak. My recovery from the knee replacement surgery became a great challenge. I was frustrated to think that I might never return to an active physically challenging lifestyle. I had completed my physical therapy and was involved in a personal exercise program, but was still experiencing weakness and severe cramps in the quadriceps muscles of the injured leg. After research and observation of the Trainers at the gym I attend, I hired Claudia. My goal was for Claudia to prepare me for a 23-day mountaineering expedition in Argentina. Claudia trained me one-on-one, with a combination of specific strength, flexibility (to break down scar tissue), and muscle building exercises, in conjunction with a nutritional plan for a period of about six months. I emphasized to her my past medical issues, physical activity levels, and my frustration with not being able to progress to the level I desired. My efforts fell short as my leg was not gaining muscle tone, muscle strength, or muscle endurance. At the end of our approximate six months of personal training, I went on the 23-day mountaineering expedition to Aconcagua. I was able to spend a total of 17 days on a high altitude mountain, hiking/climbing every day. I climbed from about 9000′ to an elevation of 20,400′ and back, in extreme conditions, without one leg cramp or knee issue. I sincerely attribute that fact to the expertise and training knowledge that Claudia has acquired over her years of experience.”
