So many people are afraid to enter a Fitness Program or hire a Personal Trainer because of injuries or health issues!
There is always a way to work around things like this…
There is always a exchange exercise to what you can not do or to what hurts …Building Core strength and stability is key number one 🙂
Never underestimate what you can do, but always listen to your body!
Chances are as you get stronger, your body will adapt.
Soon you will be able to do exactly what you couldn’t.
Examples are : can’t do lunges? just hold on to a pole or a machine and do one legged squats instead ( chances are once you focus on pushing with your heel instead of your toes or front of your foot, knee pains will go away)
Wrist issues? Vary your grip position and watch for a straight wrist!
never move your wrist while doing bicep exercises or hyper extend your wrist!
Ankle pain? you won’t have to run or sprint….just get your heart rate up on the bike, cross trainer or other cardio equipment!
It is all about that heart rate to get into the anaerobic face!!!
Never ignore a pain or a strain!
Let your Trainer know about it !!!
A good Trainer will adjust what you are doing 🙂
